Ray Whittaker was born in Kent where he lived
for 27 years until discovering another Garden
of England in Herefordshire. He now lives in Bromyard
with his wife and two teenage sons.
 A
keen artist, having attended Medway College of
Art in the late sixties, Ray has held two sell-out
exhibitions of watercolours in his home town.
This artistic skill has spilled over into Ray's
photography and it is through this new digital
medium that he prefers to express himself.
 Specialising
in action portraiture has produced some stunning
work especially in live and musical performances.
His interest in nature has also captured many
powerful images. The beautiful local countryside
provides perfect backdrops for much of Ray's work.
